The Foundation EPFL Plus
The Foundation EPFL Plus, based in Ecublens, was founded on 21 December 2004. Its purpose is to raise funds, either unrestricted or earmarked, to support the EPFL’s policy priorities in the fulfilment of its threefold mission of education, research and innovation. The principle of academic freedom prevailing at EPFL must be guaranteed in all cases.
The Foundation raises funds to strengthen the priorities of the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne’s (EPFL) development policy in line with its threefold mission of education, research and innovation.”

This document defines the principles according to which the Foundation accepts donations or solicits funds from third parties. It is intended to facilitate decision-making in the choice of collaboration with private sector companies and foundations for the funding of its programmes and activities.
